MAX Trailer maintenant aussi avec des essieux directionnels
Le fabricant de semi-remorques s'est bien établi dans la branche et a trouvé sa place sur un marché difficile. Et maintenant on prend la prochaine étape dans l'agrandissement de la gamme.
The latest achievements are the power-steered version of the MAX100 (3 or 4 axle extendable semi-trailer) and MAX200 (3 axle extendable and non-extendable flatdeck semi-trailer), which were so far only available with fixed or friction-steered axles.
Nevertheless, these new developments stay in line with the MAX Trailer philosophy of exclusively manufacturing standardized vehicles of premium quality. Using a steering wedge on the fifth wheel coupling, the steering angle is transferred hydraulically to the axles. Compared to the classical friction-steered version, the power-steered MAX Trailer allows a better maneuverability.
The small turning radius and user-friendly handling in turns makes any driver’s job simpler, as the loading area is easier to reach because less space is needed when turning. The reduced tyre wear is an additional economical advantage. Moreover, the hydraulically forced steering system offers the possibility of manually readjusting the steering, even independently from the truck’s fifth wheel. The power-steered version of the MAX100 is called MAX110 and following this principle, the power-steered equivalent of the flatdeck semi-trailer was named MAX210.
All MAX Trailer products, composed of standardized vehicles of premium quality, are distributed through a dense network of qualified dealers in Europe and beyond. MAX Trailer is a part of the Faymonville group that is putting their entire know-how in the construction of these new vehicles.
